Are you a detail-oriented, operationally strong stewarding professional ready to lead a small team and ensure smooth back-of-house operations during a hotel pre-opening? We are seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to assist the Assistant Chief Steward in maintaining impeccable cleanliness, efficient workflow, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising daily stewarding activities, managing a small team, and ensuring the kitchen and F&B areas are fully prepared for service. Stewarding Operations & Efficiency. Supervise daily stewarding activities, including dishwashing, cleaning, and organizing BOH areas. Ensure timely and efficient workflow to support kitchen and service teams. Monitor adherence to cleaning schedules, sanitation checklists, and Hilton BOH standards. Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment. Lead, mentor, and motivate a small stewarding team to achieve high performance and efficiency. Assist in training team members on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safe equipment use. Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and maintain optimal staffing levels. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement. Equipment & Inventory Management. Assist in managing kitchen and BOH equipment, including glassware, chinaware, silverware, and utensils. Support inventory control, par level management, and proper storage of cleaning supplies and OE. Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance and repair of stewarding equipment. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance. Enforce Hilton hygiene and sanitation standards, in line with HACCP and local regulations. Ensure correct chemical handling, PPE usage, and safe working practices. Conduct regular inspections of BOH areas and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with the Hygiene Manager and kitchen leadership to support food safety protocols. Work closely with Assistant Chief Steward, Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and F&B Managers to ensure smooth daily operations. Support pre-opening preparations, including organizing BOH areas, equipment setup, and workflow planning. Assist in high-volume events, banquets, and special functions as needed. Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or relevant professional experience. Proven experience in stewarding operations within hotels, resorts, or large-scale F&B operations. Pre-opening experience is an advantage. Strong organizational and operational skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of hygiene standards, sanitation procedures, and safe chemical handling. Effective leadership and communication skills to motivate a small team. Experience in inventory management, BOH logistics, and equipment handling.
