Job Description
This position is responsible for cleaning of guest rooms and replenishing of amenities. You are required to maintain the pantries and equipment in clean working order. Clean and service guest rooms and bathrooms according to established standards. Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and other amenities. Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, drinking glasses, and minibar items. Vacuum carpets, dust and polish furniture, and remove trash. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor. Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the Executive Housekeeper. To have positive involvement and interaction with the overall West team both at individual and entire team level. Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. You are required to answer guest requests and assist where possible. Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety procedures within the hotel. Follow hotel security guidelines and safety procedures. Comply with all company policies. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills.
