The ideal candidate will be ServSafe certified and have 1 year of Cafeteria Attendant experience, a passion for serving others, strong food safety knowledge and an understanding of cooking temperatures. Candidates will need to be able to work any day of the week. As a Cafeteria Attendant, you would be responsible for providing food and beverage service to team members in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Welcome and talk with team members/guests in order to create a friendly atmosphere and describe and/ or answer questions about menu items. Observe and ask guests about their needs and levels of satisfaction with the food or service. Be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary supplies from kitchen to set up cafeteria during schedule hours of service. % Perform all clean up duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down tables, cleaning salad bar, etc. Set up and maintain food line and salad bar as needed on a timely basis.
