Job Description
A Housekeeping Supervisor with Embassy Suites Hotels is responsible for managing Housekeeping administrative paperwork, and inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you would be responsible inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system (as needed). Complete work orders, as needed. Perform Room Attendant, Janitorial, Laundry Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as needed. Assist in training new hires, as needed. Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Conduct department pre-shifts. Open housekeeping: check room inventory, assign rooms to room attendants. Manage lost and found program. Review team members' timecards, review payroll reports and create work schedules. Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies. Place orders for housekeeping operating supplies and office supplies. Respond to guest assistance to resolve issues. Prepare VIP rooms including setting up special amenities. Supervise housekeeping and laundry team members to ensure productivity and operational effectiveness. Review CRM Best Guest Reports to ensure Honors recognition. Participate in Labor Management calls and support the manager to ensure labor standards are met. Address team member issues and do coach/counsel as needed.
