The ideal Line Cook candidate is a motivated culinary professional with at least one year of experience with a focus in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is ideal for a cook with the ability to manage multiple tickets while staying consistent. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, communicates well during service, and maintains high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fire-driven kitchen within an upscale hotel restaurant setting. As a Line Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards. Manage multiple tickets simultaneously while maintaining proper timing and quality. Assist with sauce preparation, mise en place, and general prep duties. Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times. Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products. Stock and maintain designated food station(s). Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen. Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.
