Job Description
The Reservations Supervisor will serve as the main contact for room reservations at the hotel; and therefore, must offer an excellent service and influence the Guest decision to stay at the property. Process and monitor all incoming reservations for West Hotel and to provide excellent and comprehensive event orders to deliver and exceed customer expectations. Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure all group bookings are appropriately managed and work independently to provide full service approach for all FIT bookings. Maximise revenue through actively upselling and also ensuring that all deposits are received and accuracy in the final invoice. Understand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates. Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business. Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate, and Reservations policies and procedures are followed to ensure Guest satisfaction. Consistently strive to develop relationships and ensuring customer loyalty to Hilton. Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role (preferred). Able to take management direction and works well with a team to achieve goals. Strong administration and communication skills. Self-motivated, passionate, innovative, exciting initiatives delivered with consistency and excellent attention to detail. Positive attitude and willingness to be involved and interact with the overall Hilton team both at an individual and team level. Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict.
