Laundry Attendant (Part Time) - Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Clara Silicon Valley

As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel on a daily basis. Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers, and chutes), ironing, folding, storing, and delivering. Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry machinery and laundry area. Maintain stock levels of laundry, and notify the manager when supplies are low. Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Perform additional laundry services, as needed, such as room cleaning, deliveries to guest rooms upon request, and houseperson duties . Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team environment. Must be able to work independently and maintain a steady workflow without supervision.
