Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays. As a Stewarding Manager, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of stewarding operations to ensure designated food and beverage outlets have necessary supplies and equipment in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Managing and directing utility stewards and dishwashers to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide cooks, buspersons and food servers with appropriate equipment. Supervising and directing staff, including temporary personnel. Ensuring proper set up for all banquet functions and that all food and equipment on menus are delivered on time to all functions. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Helping ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and insure outstanding customer service. Interviewing, training, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and evaluating staff. Quality. Dependability. Customer Focus. Adaptability.
