Job Description
As a Room Attendant, you will help create a welcoming and relaxing environment by ensuring guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas in accordance with Hilton and Embassy Suites standards. This role supports daily hotel operations by ensuring rooms are clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready while responding to guest needs in a courteous and timely manner. Room Attendants work independently and as part of a team to deliver consistent quality, efficiency, and hospitality. Guest Room Cleaning & Presentation. Clean and service guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming. Ensure all rooms are presented to brand standards with attention to detail and consistency. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned to maintain overall room quality. Conduct room inspections during service to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and appearance. Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed. Stock, organize, and transport housekeeping supply cart daily. Monitor inventory levels and report supply needs to leadership. Cleanliness & Safety. Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with hotel procedures. Follow all safety, sanitation, and security standards while performing cleaning duties. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items promptly. Respond to special guest requests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. Perform guest turndown service as assigned. Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times. Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity standards. Commitment to providing excellent guest service. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push housekeeping carts throughout the shift. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
