Job Description
A Learning & Development Supervisor is responsible for identifying and providing training to internal team members to deliver an excellent staff experience while working with and ensuring that all departments are achieving their training objectives. As a Learning & Development Supervisor, you are responsible for identifying and providing training to internal team members to deliver an excellent staff experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops for different departments. Ensure training material, resources, and facilities are prepared and available for each session. Conduct training sessions on various topics such as guest service, safety procedures, hospitality standards, and job-specific skills. Utilize different training methods and techniques to engage participants and facilitate learning effectively. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance reviews. Coordinate and conduct orientation programs for new hires to introduce them to the hotel's policies, procedures, and culture. Provide information on job roles, expectations, and career development opportunities within the organization. Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and employee progress. Participate and support in the coordination of Human Resources engagement and recognition programs as required. Assist in updating training materials, manuals, and online resources as needed. Source and evaluate training materials, tools, and technologies to support learning initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hotel standards in training programs. Coordinate certification programs and examinations for relevant qualifications. Scheduling and coordination of training classes including maintenance of training calendar. A Learning & Development Supervisor serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. Two years of previous experience in a similar role including facilitation to wide range of audience . Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and technique. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Excellent English language skills & native Arabic speaker. Demonstrated ability to develop interpersonal relationships. Positive attitude. Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint. Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree, in Training or Human Resources.
