The Coffee Shop Attendant is responsible for taking guest’s order and serving food and beverage items in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. As a Coffee Shop Attendant, you would be responsible for taking guest’s order and serving food and beverage items in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to deliver excellent guest experience and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately. Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages according to standard recipes. Assist customers with menu selections and respond to guest requests in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, equipment and seating area. Maintain inventories and restock supplies. Ensure that food safety procedures are being adhered to at all times. Operate the Micros POS and accurately record customer order information, open, complete and close guest checks properly. Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently as they arise. Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
