Job Description
In this position, you would report to the complex Director of Finance and oversee one receiving clerk per hotel. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 1 years' experience working in a hotel, in either food and beverage, culinary or purchasing! It would be considered an asset for this role to have previous training with the Smart Spend procurement platform. As a complex purchasing manager, you would be responsible for directing the purchasing and receiving of materials for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Plans, organizes, and inventories general merchandise items. Communicates with Chef and management relative to purchases consistent with hotel needs and specifications. Negotiates pricing and purchase goods and ensure delivery in a timely manner. Review shipments to ensure products received are consistent with orders and proper grade and quality. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff. Quality. Dependability.
