Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are currently in a similar role or have relevant experience, preferably in 5* hotels.
- University or college degree in the field of Hospitality
- High level English proficiency in both oral and written terms
- 6 years or more of progressive hotel sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- Results driven, energetic, and focused
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
- User-level management of MS Office
- Relevant luxury sales experience
Main Tasks
- Participate in pricing and guidance recommendations to sales staff, review and approve any special rates
- Develop a complete knowledge and ensure adherence to company sales policies and SOPs
- Drive customer loyalty to grow share of the account by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience
- Ensure all pertinent aspects of solicitation, closing, and customer communications are complete and documented for the team
- Identify and pursue new and repeat business through prospecting calls, visits, site tours and networking events
- Attend sales trips, tradeshows, blitzes, and workshops on local and international markets
- Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure the ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies
- Analyse sales and revenue management reports to identify trends and future demand opportunities
- Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly report, annual goals, sales budget, forecasts and other reports as required.
- Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analysis to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to the competition
- Prepares annual budget plans and participates in forecasting for revenue and expenses on a regular basis
- Regularly conducts share analysis for measurement of hotels market performance versus the competition and implements strategies
- Initiates collateral and marketing efforts to include all online and printed sales collateral, direct mail, discount promotions, e-mail marketing, website presence
