Job Description

The Rooftop Bartender will shape the guest experience in lou/na through excellent service, product knowledge, and engaging hospitality. Your ability to craft beverages, manage bar operations, and create a welcoming atmosphere directly impacts guest satisfaction, food and beverage revenue, and brand reputation. Whether serving solo or supporting a team, your presence at the bar influences the energy and pace of service across the outlet.


HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE



  • Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.

  • Serve wine draught, bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food.

  • Collect money for drinks served.

  • Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies. Stock and replenish glasses, beverages, mixes, fruit, and guest supplies.

  • Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.

  • Wash glasses, bar, and equipment.

  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks; prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese and cold meats.

  • Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

  • If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensure proper performance of assigned associates.

  • Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE



  • Previous bartending experience in a hotel, bar, or restaurant environment preferred

  • Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and bar setup/teardown

  • Familiarity with food pairing and cross-selling techniques considered a plus

  • Capable of working independently or as part of a larger service team


ACADEMIC BACKGROUND



  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • TIPS certification or equivalent required

  • Must meet all state and local age requirements for serving alcohol

Pay Rate: $6.00/hour + Tips
