Assists the Director of Sales and Director of Sales and Marketing in management of all sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations and management of the sale team.

·Works with DOSM on manpower planning and management needs
·Works with DOSM in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget
·Manage day to day sales activities and build relationship with team members
·Personally build clear and open lines of communication with intra departments
·Build a team with different opinions, skills, experiences, and backgrounds; leverage personal, cultural, and functional differences to optimize team performance
·Create an environment that trains, develops, coaches and mentor’s team members
Guest experience:
·Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel business
·Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community. Perform other duties as assigned.
·Meets with guests from major producers/organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsible business:
·Work with advertising agencies, consulting firms, and vendors to maximize advertising investments and ensure ads represent brand identity.
·Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.
·Be well versed and knowledgeable of the hotels Fire Evacuation and all Emergency procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace.
Accountability
This is the top sales and marketing job in a full or limited-service hotel and may include meeting space and or catering facilities. May manage professional level and administrative sales team members.
What we need from you
Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field.
3 - 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
