Job Requirement

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Supervision

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations including room cleaning and public area maintenance
  • Allocate tasks and prepare duty rosters for team members
  • Ensure rooms are cleaned, inspected, and ready as per standards

2. Quality & Standards

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Ensure adherence to IHG / Holiday Inn Express SOPs
  • Maintain grooming and discipline within the team

3. Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping associates
  • Conduct daily briefings and assign responsibilities
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback

4. Coordination

  • Coordinate with Front Office for room status and guest requirements
  • Work closely with Engineering for maintenance issues
  • Ensure timely room availability for check-ins

5. Inventory & Control

  • Monitor usage of linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities
  • Maintain stock levels and report shortages
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials

6. Guest Handling

  • Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping
  • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of issues
  • Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Attention to detail and quality focus
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations and standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
