Job Requirement

The HR Intern will support the daily operations of the People & Culture department. You will play a key role in the "Employee Life Cycle," from assisting with recruitment and onboarding to coordinating staff engagement activities. Your goal is to help create a positive work environment where colleagues feel supported to provide "True Hospitality" to our guests.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition



  • Assist in posting job openings on internal and external platforms 

  • Screen resumes against job requirements and assist in scheduling interviews for hiring managers.

  • Help maintain the candidate database and ensure every applicant receives a professional response.


2. Onboarding & Training



  • Support coordinating the onobarding for new hires, ensuring all paperwork and uniforms are ready.

  • Assist in organizing training sessions and tracking completion of mandatory IHG e-learning modules.


3. Employee Engagement & Communication



  • Help organize staff events, such as "Stars of the Month" celebrations, town halls, and holiday parties.

  • Assist in updating the staff notice boards and internal newsletters with important hotel news.


4. HR Administration & Compliance



  • Maintain digital and physical employee files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date (contracts, IDs, medical checks).

  • Assist with payroll preparation by tracking attendance and leave requests.

  • Ensure all HR activities comply with local labor laws and IHG’s global "Winning Ways" culture.
