Duty Manager – European
Are you a confident hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for guest satisfaction? We are looking for a Duty Manager – European who will act as the hotel’s ambassador on shift, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest experiences, and effective coordination across departments.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Acting as the senior manager on duty, overseeing overall hotel operations during assigned shifts.
- Ensuring exceptional guest experience by proactively handling guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery.
- Managing VIP arrivals, special guests, and high-profile accounts with professionalism and discretion.
- Coordinating closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and Security teams.
- Monitoring service standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency across all departments.
- Handling emergency situations, incidents, and complaints in line with hotel procedures.
- Supporting Front Office operations during peak times when required.
- Preparing shift reports and communicating key operational updates to senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with brand standards, hotel SOPs, and safety regulations.
What we need from you:
- European nationality is required for this role.
- Proven experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or Front Office Manager, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent guest engagement and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages will be a strong advantage.
- High standards of grooming, professionalism, and communication.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Hospitality qualifications will be an advantage.
