Duty Manager – European

Are you a confident hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for guest satisfaction? We are looking for a Duty Manager – European who will act as the hotel’s ambassador on shift, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest experiences, and effective coordination across departments.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Acting as the senior manager on duty, overseeing overall hotel operations during assigned shifts.

  • Ensuring exceptional guest experience by proactively handling guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery.

  • Managing VIP arrivals, special guests, and high-profile accounts with professionalism and discretion.

  • Coordinating closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and Security teams.

  • Monitoring service standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency across all departments.

  • Handling emergency situations, incidents, and complaints in line with hotel procedures.

  • Supporting Front Office operations during peak times when required.

  • Preparing shift reports and communicating key operational updates to senior management.

  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards, hotel SOPs, and safety regulations.

What we need from you:

  • European nationality is required for this role.

  • Proven experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or Front Office Manager, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent guest engagement and conflict-resolution abilities.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages will be a strong advantage.

  • High standards of grooming, professionalism, and communication.

  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced, operational environment.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Hospitality qualifications will be an advantage.
