THE TEAM
The Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational excellence of the resort. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance – Business Partner, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional departments while leading a dedicated accounting team. Together, you will support strategic decision-making and uphold Rosewood’s financial standards and compliance requirements.
YOUR ROLE
As Assistant Director of Finance, you will be a key driver of the resort’s financial performance and operational discipline. You will oversee the daily activities of the Finance Department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions.
Working closely with the Director of Finance – Business Partner, you will help maintain strong internal controls, support audit processes, and contribute to financial planning. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the accounting team, safeguarding assets, and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting that supports business success

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports
Lead and monitor internal controls while implementing effective financial procedures
Coordinate the month-end closing process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Manage cash flow and banking activities to ensure proper and timely availability of funds
Collaborate with auditors and ensure readiness and delivery of audit documentation
Supervise accounting operations, including payroll oversight, tax filings, and compliance requirements
