Purchasing Intern
to join our team.
In this role, you will support the procurement processes that ensure our hotel runs smoothly, contributing to the delivery of exceptional guest experiences by sourcing high-quality products and services efficiently and responsibly.
You will support the Director of Purchasing with administrative matters such as setting up vendors, managing details in the system of products and suppliers, ensuring proper documentation and useful records are collected and in alignment data.
Job Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Assist in sourcing, and purchasing goods and services in line with brand standards
Support vendor management including maintaining supplier relationships and evaluating performance
Help maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with departments to anticipate purchasing needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
Assist with market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
Utilize computer systems and software to manage data, analyze information, and maintain accurate records
