Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented
Chef de Partie
to oversee a specific section of the kitchen and ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a refined dining environment, demonstrates strong technical skills, and maintains consistency under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, garde manger).
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure mise en place is prepared efficiently and accurately for service.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and plating.
Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs to the Sous Chef.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Assist in menu development and tastings as required.
Support smooth service operations and collaborate with the wider kitchen team.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a refined or fine dining establishment.
Culinary qualification or relevant professional training preferred.
Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques.
Understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure service environment.
Strong team player with clear communication skills.
