YOUR ROLE
You act as a trusted ambassador of the hotel, representing the brand with charm, professionalism and a sharp sense for customer needs, while leading, inspiring and developing a team of five sales professionals. Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial, you jointly drive overall revenue performance across rooms and F&B, build long-term relationships with key local and international partners, identify growth opportunities early, and represent the hotel at strategic meetings and sales engagements worldwide.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
You represent the hotel with confidence, charm and professionalism, demonstrating a refined understanding of guest and client needs at all times
You contribute your strategic expertise to sales planning and the achievement of commercial targets
You lead, motivate and develop a dedicated sales team, taking full responsibility for workforce planning and daily sales operations
Together with the Director of Commercial, you are accountable for overall revenue performance, including occupancy, average daily rate, total revenue (including F&B), RevPAR and market share
You build and nurture close, trust-based relationships with key clients and business partners on both a local and international level.
You actively participate in internal and external meetings as well as sales trips
You identify opportunities ahead of the market, proactively developing key and high-potential accounts in line with the hotel’s long-term growth strategy
COULD THIS BE YOU?
A solid professional qualification or degree in hospitality management, tourism, event management, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in senior sales management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment
An excellent regional, national and/or international professional network
Proven experience in managing and acquiring international key accounts, as well as strong expertise in contract and negotiation management.
A strong host mindset combined with a confident, polished and professional presence
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful trends and insights
Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of speed and accuracy
Impeccable manners and a well-groomed, professional appearance
Willingness to travel as required by the role
A self-reliant, structured and results-driven working style
Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
