Job Description
Quality customer service background. Current Valid Hawaii Driver's License. As the Kitchen Driver, your core responsibility is to pick up bulk food and supply orders from the main general storeroom and delivering them to the corresponding restaurant, kitchen and/or storage. This position will also be asked to operate and transport other vehicles and equipment needed for other parts of the food and beverage operation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Drive property-designated vehicles and delivering food and beverage product and supplies throughout the hotel property including, but not limited to, storerooms, kitchens, restaurants, convention areas and ballrooms, etc. Pick up and distribute F&B product and supplies in a timely, organized and efficient manner. Assist and support storeroom, culinary, beverage and steward personnel. Respond to operational inquiries and requests and resolve F&B operational issues regarding product and supply delivery. Operate, transport and relocate other vehicles/equipment including but not limited to food trucks, flatbeds, trailers, electric carts, pallet jacks that are part of the food and beverage operation. Pick up product from supplier warehouses when needed, re-fill propane/gas, transport product and equipment to and from offsite events, transport vehicles to maintenance shops and safety check stations. Assist with organization and rotation of product in walk-in coolers and freezers and storages. Inspect and report maintenance issues with vehicles.
