Job Description
As C&E Sales Coordinator, you will work closely with customers to determine their needs and build repeat and expanded business. The C&E Sales Coordinator will also work closely within the team to contribute to strategy and promotional activities. Specifically, a C&E Sales Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards. Maximize rooms, groups, conference and events revenue through pro-active selling and commercial management techniques. Contribute to the strategy and planning activities of the C&E Sales Team. Develop future and repeat business, contributing to the profitability of the Hotel. Handle all customer enquiries with a professional telephone manner and demonstrate high standards of customer service. Creating event proposals which fit client requirements and presenting proposals by deadline. Convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales. Creating sales opportunities for future events during client liaisons and during events, including possessing a strong working knowledge of the Hotel/ Hilton Brand to further these sales opportunities and cross-sell other Hilton properties. Develop and expand current existing accounts, focusing on achieving repeat business and upselling opportunities. Work closely with the Reservations team to coordinate large residential Conferences. Seek proactive opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team. Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach. Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs. Arrange and carry out Hotel familiarisations. Attend Trade Shows and Wedding Shows representing the Hotel. Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events, finalise the billing details and work with the Finance team to ensure timely payment of all event accounts. Work closely with the C&E Operations Manager/C&E Operations team to ensure events run smoothly. Participate in hotel promotional activities. Coordinate Weddings and other Social events like birthdays, wedding anniversaries as well as school Balls. A C&E Sales Coordinator serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. Good organisational and administration skills. Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service. Confident telephone manner. Strong attention to detail. Good time management is a must. High level of IT skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Good negotiation skills when dealing with clients. Must be a team player and have the ability to work well within a small team . Show initiative and be self-motivated and driven to succeed. Must be available to work on weekends if sometimes required. Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference and Events Department. Knowledge of Delphi Software Program would be an advantage.
