Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Server's Assistant/Food Runner to join our team at The Eagle's Nest. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience by supporting servers, delivering food promptly, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all orders are delivered correctly according to guest specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, dining room, and service areas.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a clean dining environment for all guests.
- Support servers with refilling drinks, providing extra utensils, and attending to guest needs as required.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient service.
- Monitor and stock supplies, such as napkins, silverware, and condiments, throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
Education: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Experience: Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, supporting servers and kitchen staff as needed.
Work Ethic: High energy, positive attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Physical Guidelines:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement.
Work Hours:
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
